Mike Barrow Memorial Service
Michael Eric Barrow, age 67, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 10, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. Michael was born on May 18, 1952 in Pensacola, Florida to Frank and Ruth(Nobles) Barrow. He graduated from the University of West Florida with a BS in computer science in 1974 and worked as a systems analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida for 35 years. On July 4, 1974, he married Pamela Louise Hawkins and together they raised 1 daughter and 2 sons.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Louise Barrow (Hawkins), 1 daughter, Brienne Kan (Barrow), 2 sons Sean Michael Barrow (Ashley), and Brent Eric Barrow (Krystle); 10 grandchildren; 1 sister, Janice Barrow Scott (Ron) and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Frank, mother Ruth and brother Wayne.
Michael’s passions were serving the Lord, being a loving husband, father and grandfather, music and hot rods. Michael sang with the Jacksonville symphony orchestra for 10 years, but his entire life he sang for the Lord. A lover of old rock and roll, he amassed a healthy collection of vinyl albums. He also built and /or owned several hot rods.
